NIHR Receives the Chairperson of the Council of Directors of the Bahrain Medical Society
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received Dr. Amer Ibrahim Al- Alderazi, Chairperson of the Council of Directors of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS), in the presence of Dr. Malallah Alhammadi, Head of the NIHR Committee on Detention & Facilities Visitation.
At the outset of the meeting, Alderazi welcomed Dr. Amer, noting the effective role of the BMS and the efforts of its members in developing the medical and health sector and their constant endeavours to achieve the desired goals, stating the NIHR’s full support to common aspirations and goals in order to raise the quality of the health system and the efficiency of services provided in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues and initiatives of common interest, stating the importance of enhancing coordination and joint cooperation during the next stage.
For his part, Dr. Amer Alderazi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Chairperson of the NIHR for his support and assistance, praising the NIHR's effective role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
